Melissa Carter introduces me...

Tellling stories...

Meet, greet and sign. *grin*
RELAY FOR LIFE:

Our Relay opens with the presentation of the flags by our area vets and the twenty-one gun salute.
It's always moving to me.

Standing at attention...

The salute...

The committee presented the veterans with red, white, and blue balloons.

It was a wonderful sight to see the men and women release their balloons together.

Kelly Prine, the East Carroll Parish Chair of the Relay for Life gets things started.

Samantha Patrick does a great job with the National Anthem.

Mark Mills entertains the crowd. We had a lot of great entertainment; I just had other duties
and couldn't get all of your pictures. Sorry, folks!

Is this one sweet little supporter or what? Her name is Reagan and she sits with me in church on Sundays!
I think she loves me more than she does her mama...okay, maybe not, but we're tight...

Kelly introduces Mr. Carl Bonner, one of our ATS porchers and the honoree of Friday night's relay.
Good job with the speech, Mr. Carl!

The mayor of Lake Providence, Issac Fields, speaks to the crowd.

Cancer survivors are recognized and make the first official lap. Everyone enjoys their "victory" lap...

The rest of the walkers get going...

TEAM ATS is off!

I didn't get pictures of all the booths but here is a great example of team spirit by the Kid Med group!

Chillin' at the ATS booth. Left to right, Charlotte Herrington, my marketing director and great friend,
Rhonda Perry, me, Aunt Pat, and Mama...

Well, of course Elvis entertained. This is the South! (In Elvis' day job he is known as District Attorney, Buddy
Caldwell.)

The Relay is enjoyed by all ages.

My son Phillip and his girl, Carey...I love y'all.

Good friends, Joey Hopkins and his lovely wife, Patti...

Happy campers or weary walkers?

This shot proves once and for all that I am not vain. Here I am in all my sleepy-eyed glory with Carey
looking like a million. Hmph! She is twenty years younger for goodness sakes.

I wish I had a photo of the Sherrif's department. They worked tirelessly helping everyone set up
their booths and take them down. Here they are "arresting" a criminal who will have to pay bail money
or serve time in the small onsite cell. I wonder who this felon is?

Oh, my gosh! It's my pastor, Bro. Don Boyette...I'll be looking into this a little further.
Again, thank you ATS porchers for your dollars and your support. Together, we'll find a cure.
Hugs,
Shellie
